The Top Ten Tuesday Meme is brought to you via
The Broke and The Bookish

I haven't done a Top Ten Tuesday in so long!
I've been busy. I completed my final semester of college (which involved a lot of studying, test taking, partying, Netflixing -- you know, the usual). I then graduated college. I moved back home. I searched for jobs. Anddddd, I'm still unemployed.
I recently started writing for Fangirlish, a website that "brings sass and heart to fandoms every single day." I will be covering all things John Green related for the site, as well as writing book reviews and other bookish material. If you are interested in checking out what I've got going so far, here is a link to my Fangirlish work.
And, in other news: My birthday was yesterday! So, uh, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22!
Just kidding. I'm 22, but I don't really feel 22 just yet. I still feel like a little kid pretending to be an adult.
Now that we are all caught up on where I've been hiding, let's talk about books!
This week I have listed the Top Ten books that I've read so far in 2015. I am very proud to say that I have read 32 books so far this year. Initially, my goal was to read 30. I pushed it to 40, but I think that I will surpass that goal soon and will have to push it 50. Anyway, here are the Top Ten Books I've Read So Far In 2015:
Titles in purple link to books I have reviewed.
The Winner's Crime | A Court of Thorns and Roses | Heir of Fire | Snow Like Ashes |
Archer's Voice | Slammed | Confess | The Kiss of Deception |
A Darker Shade of Magic | An Ember in the Ashes
Archer's Voice | Slammed | Confess | The Kiss of Deception |
A Darker Shade of Magic | An Ember in the Ashes
What Books Have You Enjoyed So Far This Year?
- Have you read any of these books? Are any of them on your TBR list?
- Did you complete a Top Ten Tuesday this week? If so, be sure to link it below!
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Talk to you next week!
Talk to you next week!
WOw all of these books have been popular. I've seen them all on a few different peoples list. I might have to look into reading some of them.

You should! The Winner's Curse trilogy is amazing if you're in the mood for fantasy. And, if you're in the mood for romance, I recommend Archer's Voice!
DeleteI loved The Winner's Crime! And Heir of Fire! And A Darker Shade of Magic!! Colleen Hoover hasn't done much for me yet, but I've been wanting to read Slammed. I'm glad you liked it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by Hayley! The Winner's Crime is by far one of my all time favorites. SO MANY FEELS! Also, I will say that some of Colleen Hoover's books are hit and miss. There are some that I definitely loved more than others. I think you should give Slammed a try. And, if you're still not feeling Mrs. Hoover but want to read a great New Adult book, I recommend Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan!
DeleteI've read a few of these and loved them - HEIR OF FIRE!!!! Although I read it last year, so it didn't make my list. The Winner's Crime, Confess, Slammed and ACOTAR <3. I recently bought myself Archer's Voice and really hope I love it when I finally get to read it.
ReplyDeleteArcher's Voice -- I just finished it not even a week ago and I can't stop thinking about it. SO GOOD! I can't believe that I waited so long before I finally read it. Don't put it off like I did!
DeleteHappy belated birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteA Court of Thorns and Roses... I think I've seen that on at least half of the blogs I've visited today, so it must be rather amazing. I might have to go get it after work.
Thank you so much!
DeleteACOTAR is pretty great. You should check out my review here if you're still considering whether you should get it. If you're already a fan of Sarah J. Maas, I'm sure you'll love it. But those who haven't yet read her books sometimes need that little extra push. *gently pushes you towards the bookstore* :)
Oh I'm reading the Winner's Crime right now! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
ReplyDeleteAlso, your blog is gorgeous and I just followed you.
Thanks, Carlisa! I shall return the favor :) The Winner's Crime is A+++, absolute perfection! Get ready for that ending, girl. It's an emotional roller coaster!
DeleteCongratulations on your graduation and Happy Birthday! What an exciting time in your life. Now that I'm almost 40, 22 sounds soooo young. Enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books on your list, but most of them are on my TBR mountain chain. I'll get to them someday ...
Happy TTT!
Thanks so much, Susan! I'm sure you're just as fabulous as you were at 22 :)
DeleteNow, about that TBR mountain chain: I recommend you start with ACOTAR, The Winner's Crime, and Archer's Voice (not necessarily in that order). Thanks for dropping by!
Great list! I really want to check out An Ember in the Ashes because everyone seems to love it so much. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
Hey, Krystianna! Thanks for commenting :) I definitely recommend An Ember in the Ashes. It's been hyped a lot, but it's quite good! I'm really glad that its sequel is officially happening. I'm so excited for that story to continue. I'm sure you'll love it!
DeleteI am currently reading Confess, I am enjoying it. . Thanks for stopping by PTB
ReplyDeleteFirst- HUGE congrats on graduating! No worries, I totally went home unemployed after college too :)
ReplyDeleteSecond- HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY!!
Third- your list is perfection. Seriously, I have loved every one of these that I've read! The Winner's Crime was basically #11 on my list, if I'd been able to pick one more! TKOD made my list, and Slammed is one of my all time favorites! Basically, every single book on here I have loved except the two I haven't read yet! So I'd say we have FABULOUS taste in books :)
