Top Ten Tuesday | Book's I've Been Told I MUST Read

The Top Ten Tuesday Meme is brought to you via
The Broke and The Bookish

Oh, hey!  How are ya?

It's 10:10am where I am and I'm trying to type this up quickly before my 11am class.  (That's right, I'm back in school.  And, I made the terrible mistake of registering for an 8am class.  Ugh, it was the worst.)

But, let's talk about happy things.  Like BOOKS!

This week I am giving you a list of the Top Ten books I have been told that I absolutely, positively have to read, like right now.

10) Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

I just did a Rainbow Rowell swap with one of my friends.  I read and love Fangirl and told her that she just had to read it.  And, she'd read Eleanor & Park and told me that I had to read it.  So, we swapped.  I will be starting this one soon and I'm so excited....and I just can't hide it.

9) The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

This one was recommended by the same friend I did my Rainbow Rowell swap with.  I got this book from my mom this past Christmas, but I haven't gotten to read it yet.  I brought it to school with me though, because I do plan to read it sometime this school year.

8) Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I've heard nothing but good things about this from my Goodreads friends.  And, I've also seen a lot of raving about it on the BookTube.

7) Cinder by Marissa Meyer

This is another one that I've read a lot of positive reviews for.  And, I just bought it from Book Outlet yesterday.  Score!

6) The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

This one made my list last week.  Again, I am reluctant to read this one because I'm 21 and it was written for a much younger demographic.  But, again, I've heard nothing but good things.  So, I think I'm going to try it.

5) The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

4) Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

I don't know if it's the title or the cover.  But, something about this book really creeps me out and I've been reluctant to read it.  However, I know it's beloved by a lot of people I trust for recommendations.

3) Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

2) Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

I started reading this one but couldn't really get into it.  But it's supposed to be a pretty awesome series.  So, I am going to give it another try sometime this year.

1) Vicious by V.E. Schwab

Uh...people are crazy about this book.  And, my curiosity is killing me.

Tell Me Your Thoughts

    1. I hope so, too. I'm really hoping my second try at Under The Never Sky will be better. I think it just wasn't what I was in the mood for at the time. I had been reading a lot of Sci-Fi and I needed a break from that. Thanks for dropping by!

  2. 3. Shadow and bone.
    7. Cinder.
    8. Throne of glass.
    9. The book thief.

I highly recommend these titles. The book thief is one of my favorite books EVER. Throne of glass and Shadow and bone are great if you look for a good fantasy series. Cinder is amazing. Such an unique fairytale retelling.

  3. Eleanor & Park LOVED! Cinder YES! And each book in that series has been better than the one before it which is saying a lot. Shadow & Bone and Under the Never Sky are both awesome reads too! I hope you get to read these soon! And thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier!
